Fruit of the Earth Cocoa Butter Skin Care Cream Review

Come winter and the problem of dry, scaly, itchy skin begins and our best friend
becomes deep nourishing body butter/ creams. One such body butter that's the
best for dry skin in winters is made of Cocoa butter. These body butters are
designed to provide deep nourishment and hydration to our body in winters.

This review is on a body cream(Fruit of the Earth Cocoa Butter Skin Care Cream)
which contains the goodness of cocoa butter, Vit E, and Aloe Vera. Apparently
this cream is not so popular in India but is quite popular elsewhere and since its
a US made product so of course US and Europe too. Its quite equivalent to yet
another brand Palmer's which are quite popular for their body butters.

Product Description -

A super rich nature inspired Cocoa Butter Formula blended with Aloe Vera,
Vitamin E, Wheat Germ and Sunflower Seed Oil.

Heals and softens rough, dry skin. Penetrates to restore vital moisture. Helps
end ashy dry skin. Great for after sun moisturizing.

Directions - Apply generously to dry skin as needed and after exposure to wind,
sun, and cold weather.

My Take on FOTE Cocoa Butter Skin Care Cream -

I stay in a city where winters are not so harsh unlike other cities so buying
and using a body butter was never thought of. But quite recently my skin
has been behaving nasty and I felt my skin required some extra nourishment.
So began my lookout for a good body butter cream which is easy on my
pocket and yet offers the same benefits expected out of body butters.

Then I came across FOTE cocoa butter skin cream which not typically
labelled as body butter but is quite similar in texture and benefit as a
body butter. It does a brilliant job by providing deep nourishment and
hydration for up to 12 hrs. if not 24 hrs. One can easily find the difference
in a regular body lotion with cocoa extracts and this cream as it shows
immediate result on excessive dry skin and soothe it instantly.

Another great benefit of using it is that it can be used on summers too,
if your skin is sunburned and have got rashes, one can apply it on skin
and it soothes the inflamed, irritated skin well as it has extracts of
Aloe Vera in it, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin too. Also a very
small quantity is required so it does last long. Since it has Aloe Vera
in it so don't expect it to smell like strawberries or lemons :-))
If you are fond of body butters with fragrance in it, then clearly
this is not the one for you. It has a very peculiar smell yet tolerable
which am not sure is of Aloe Vera coz they don't have a fragrance
of their own.

• Has Mineral Oil too
• Not easily available
• Price not uniform across websites
• Not a pleasant fragrance

Recommendations -  You may try it once coz it offers same benefit like
a typical body butter does and is not too expensive. However, if you
avoid products with parabens, mineral oil etc then its better to skip this
one.Also, if perfumed body butters are your choice then you might be
disappointed with FOTE.
