VLCC Protein Conditioning Shampoo Review

Hello everyone J today I’m going to review “VLCC conditioning shampoo”. I have a
love-hate relationship with VLCC products and when I saw this shampoo in the beauty
shop I got attracted to it because it contains soya protein, almond oil, vitamin E and other
tempting ingredients. I am using it from past 3-4 weeks and now I’m ready for the review.

What the Product Claims?
A mild formulation of Soya Protein and Almond Oil gently cleanses your hair and provides
nutrition of protein and vitamins. Soya Oil gets absorbed into the hair cuticles provides
conditioning and anti-breakage benefits to the hair. Almond Oil enriched with vitamin E,
gives deep nourishment to hair leaving them stronger and healthier from within.

Directions to use:
Gently massage shampoo into wet hair and scalp. Leave for 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Key Ingredients: Soya Protein, Almond Oil, Dimetihcon, Decyl Glucoside, Guar
Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Octyl Methoxy Cinnamate, Polyquaternium 10, SLES.

Price: 170 INR

My Experience with VLCC Soya Protein and Almond Oil conditioning shampoo:
This shampoo comes in an opaque white bottle with a flip flop cap. It smells good but I don’t
know what exactly it smells. The bottle is sturdy and the cap shuts with a click sound which
means its travel friendly too. The texture of the shampoo is neither runny nor thick and it’s
white in color. I always dilute shampoo with water and then use it; it requires little amount is
to lather. I used this shampoo without conditioner because it claims to condition hair but it
failed there… I dint saw any conditioning effect in my hairs. But it cleans them perfectly and
reduces hair fall to a great extent. My hair stands don’t break now and I’m very happy. It
also makes m hair soft to touch but does not work on frizz and thus conditioner is essential
when using it. The fragrance lingers for quite some time and it’s not over powering at all.
Overall, I think it’s a good shampoo but nothing extraordinary about it.

Pros:
  • Affordable
  • Easy available
  • Makes hair smooth and soft
  • Reduces hair fall
  • Does not make hair dry

Cons:
  • Loaded with chemicals
  • Does not condition as it claims to do
  • Does not give nourishment to hairs
  • Works well when used with conditioner.. can’t use it alone
  • No “wow” factor :P

TBLP Rating: 3/5

Will I recommend?? No, it’s a good shampoo but nothing extraordinary in it so I won’t
recommend it to anyone.
