L'Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum Review

Hello everyone,

I am back with another review today and it’s about a serum which I bought last month.

My hairs are very very frizzy and thus using serum is essential to make them
manageable. L'Oreal is a well known brand and the products have always worked
for me so when I saw this serum I had high expectations from it, read on to know 
did it fulfill my expectations or not!

What product Claims?

Smooth intense product range, transforms unruly & dry hair to smooth manageable hair. 

For the 1st time the L'Oreal laboratories have succeeded in combining Argan oil and silk

protein, which is naturally rich in essential fatty nutrients:

·         Deep nourishment: the creme formula nourishes & smoothes your hair from root to tip

      making it smooth & manageable. 48 H Protection: the formula shields your hair from the

      effects of humid or dry weather, like unruly and unmanageable hair. 
     The texture of your hair is renewed. Hairs become smooth, controlled and manageable.

Directions to use:

Take pea size amount on hand and apply on dry or semi dry hairs, do not apply on roots.

My experience with L'Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum:

My hairs are frizzy and dry and thus serums are life-saver for me. Usually serums are 

over-priced I think and I wanted something reasonable priced so when I saw this in 

the beauty store I picked it up because this huge serum bottle was for just 240 INR. 

The serum is packaged in a yellow plastic bottle with a brown flip flop capo. The cap

is sturdy and leak-proof which makes it travel friendly. The serum is transparent in 

color and it has a very pleasant fragrance but I can’t tell what exactly it smells like. 

The texture is similar to oil and it spreads easily on hairs and small quantity is required

at a time so this serum is going to last long which makes it worth the price. I apply it 

on my wet hairs and when my hairs dries, they do not look frizzy. It controls frizz to

a great extent and makes them manageable. It also adds a shine to my hairs which 

stays for quite some time with me. The effects stay with me for 4 hours which is quite

low and I wish the effect lasted for at least 6-7 hours. Overall, I am pretty happy with

the results at a low price and I recommend it to everyone. 

Summing up the pros and cons for you :))

Pros :

•  Affordable
•   Little goes a long way
• Makes hair manageable and controls frizz to a great extend
• Ads shine to hairs
• Fragrance is pleasant
•  Huge quantity which is worth the price
•   Texture is smooth and it spreads easily
• Nice and sturdy packaging

Cons :

• ·         Effects don’t last long
•       Hair feels sticky if applied more … but it’s the case with every serum
